Abigail Pauley

Abigail Pauley is a senior at Taft Union High School. She has maintained strong grades while participating in multiple academic clubs and playing cheer, basketball, and softball. She’s proud of her ability to stay balanced and make time for friends and family.

Becoming a Maid of Petroleum has been a dream of hers since childhood. Abigail is motivated by a love for her community and hopes to inspire other young girls to dream big, even when it feels out of reach.

Her favorite Oildorado memories include seeing the Maids of Petroleum in their elegant dresses during parades and learning about Taft’s history through community events.

Diagnosed with vitiligo in kindergarten, Abigail has learned that true beauty comes from within.

After graduation, she plans to attend a four-year university to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and eventually pursue a PhD.
