Stephanie Avina is currently attending SJVC, where she is studying to become a respiratory therapist. Among her proudest accomplishments are earning the Holmes Scholarship and other academic awards, as well as performing as the featured character, Malegueña, in her high school band’s halftime show.

She chose to become a Maid of Petroleum to create lasting memories with her fellow participants and give back to the community that has always supported her.

Her favorite Oildorado memory is watching the Maids of Petroleum perform a dance routine during an assembly at Jefferson Elementary.

Stephanie enjoys playing golf, making music, and spending time with her family. She is the only girl among her siblings and is passionate about pursuing a career in healthcare to serve Kern County.
